Absolutely amazing. Johnny and Calum helped us move from a 2nd floor flat to a house. Very friendly, efficient and worked quickly to make our move as smooth as possible. Would absolutely recommend 👌 overall a good experience 10/10Sledges did a great move for our youngest and packed everything nice and safely. The price was way less than we planned for given the distance moved. I would highly recommend them.Just want to say a huge thank you to Johnny and Nick who gave us a terrific service on Saturday. They couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and reassuring. They shifted some large furniture through seemingly impossible spaces. I can't recommend them more highly.Jonny and Nick were amazing! Outstanding! Extremely good value and excellent service. I used Sledges of Southampton when I moved last time and was very happy with them so looked them up when I moved again. It's because I know they are highly reliable, efficient and take great care with processions. They take the stress out of moving. They were friendly and worked quickly, both at packing up and then unpacking at the new place. We also had them take apart our beds which were rebuilt in the new rooms, all done to a good standard. Polite, efficient moved my dad from Wales to Hampshire. Very patient with an elderly person at a very reasonable price. Would recommend this company to anyone. Definitely would use again. He arrived promptly, and the 3 of them were a whirlwind, moving and loading the boxes, furniture and white goods to the van, and ensuring it was stowed securely. Unloading was even quicker, with a packed Luton being emptied to the specified rooms within an hour. On top, everyone was great to chat with, and really made our moving experience less stressful.Sledges service was fantastic, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for a full home move. I hired them to move stuff from my late mother's house in Southampton down to Devon. They were super efficient and very respectful given the circumstances. We had some heavy and awkwardly shaped commercial kitchen equipment to move from a garage in Chatham, Kent to Botley, Southampton. Johnny provided a very competitive quote and was very efficient and professional in arranging the job. On the day, they kept as fully informed about their progress and because their previous job took longer than expected, they didn’t complete our job until later than they’d hoped. When they arrived, they had to unload a difficult load in a farmyard in the pitch dark but both Johnny and Toby remained very helpful and cheerful throughout. The van and 2 men arrived bang on the agreed time, and after a quick assessment started to pack the van. They are a lot quicker than you'd imagine, but were still very careful. At my new property they laid dust sheets to protect the light carpet, and put boxes in rooms as requested. The whole move was completed in 3.5 hours (although I was lucky to get the keys released early so there was minimum waiting time and it was only a short distance away). I have found nothing damaged or broken.I can thoroughly recommend SoS for a no-frills moving service. They will joke, make fun of each other whilst they are working and are very good humoured :-)They moved a 6ft tall extremely heavy display unit from Central Library that now proudly stands in my workplace.
